The Carl Kipp, Jr.
Paygro/Garick Endowed Scholarship Fund The
Carl Kipp, Jr. Paygro/Garick Endowed Scholarship Fund is a new
endowment. It honors Carl Kipp, Jr., a 1952 graduate of the
Department who went on to be a pioneer in the composting business.
He is the founder and former President of Paygro which is pioneer in
in the bark and soil industries. Paygro recently merged with Garick
Corporation of Cleveland, Ohio. Garick is one of the leading
distributors of natural resource products in the United States and
Canada.
Income from
the endowment provides scholarships for engineering juniors or
seniors with priority to those interested in bioenvironmental, soil
and water, ecological or biological engineering. Preference will be
given to students who plan to intern at either Paygro or Garick.
