Trip April 15, 2002
On April 15th, 2002 the class took a field trip to visit the Living Machine House located in the Environmental Science Building at Oberlin College, Ohio. Audura (far left) was our excellent tour guide.
An important part of the Oberlin visit was collecting plant species to add to the system the class was building. The class near the clarifying tank. (picture below)
The class also collected water samples from the Oberlin tank to add to their system.
After returning to the lab from Oberlin, the vegetative and water samples were added to the living machine in the Food, Agricultural & Biological Engineering Bldg.
