The Ross/Abbott Laboratories Scholarship fund was started in 1995 with a gift designated to the University by Dr. Ralph Gygax.  He was an Associate Research Fellow in Process and Package Development at Ross Products Division of Abbott Laboratories here in Columbus and he now owns SPH Technologies in Westerville, Ohio.The Ross/Abbott Laboratories Scholarships are awarded to entering freshman or current students of the program with priority given to those with an interest in food or biological engineering.
