Alpha Mu  

Alpha Mu Honorary is a student organization in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.  Membership is composed of selected members who possess high scholarship and outstanding leadership in the Agricultural and Construction Systems Management program.

Our Mission:

"The mission of Alpha Mu is to better prepare ACSM students for life by encouraging high academic achievement, community service and professional development.  Members become skilled, self motivated leaders capable of contributing to the department, the college and the agricultural and construction industries, by utilizing assistance from faculty, staff and alumni."

Activities of Alpha Mu

The mission of Alph Mu is to better prepare ACSM students for life by encouraging high academic achievement, community service and professional development. Members become skilled, self-motivated leaders capable of contributing to the department, the college and agricultural and construction industries, by utilizing assistance from faculty, staff and alumni.

Activities include the autumn professional dinner at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe, guest speakers, service projects in the department or college, mentoring, alumni relations, field trips, workshops and recreational activities. The Honorary also raised money through the sales of welding equipment to the ACSM 240 classes.

Alph Mu has a functional officer team and is a registered organization with Agriculture and Natural Resources Council.
