Each year, Ohio State Energy Partners contributes $810,00 to university or affiliated philanthropic causes. The Office of Academic Affairs engages Ohio State faculty, staff and students through a request for proposals to advance important university priorities and promote interdisciplinary and community collaboration.
The OSU Green Home Technology Center was recently announced as recipients of a 2020 Community Engaged Program Award from The Ohio State University Office of Outreach and Engagement. The team is led by Lingying Zhao and Victoria Chen, both faculty in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering.
The Community Engaged Program Award recognizes outstanding achievement by faculty, staff and/or student led programs/initiatives focused on community-university partnerships and impact.
CFAES’s research arm, OARDC, honored the service of nearly 100 faculty and staff members at its annual Employee Appreciation Night on Oct. 5 in Wooster. The honorees included 8 FABE faculty and staff. Leading the honorees was Harold Keener, professor and associate chair, Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE), who this year celebrated a half century of service to the center.
