Dr. Robert Hansen, Research Scientist in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, attended the National FFA Convention with ASABE (Association of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) this October. The National FFA Convention took place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis October 22 through 26. At the convention, they set up a hydroponic lettuce display. The hydroponic lettuce display was part of the ASABE display designed to attract high school FFA students to plan and prepare to be agricultural and biological engineers.
