What does a typical day look like at your current role?
"In my current role at a recycling and waste-management equipment manufacturer, I focus on integrating engineering designs with ERP systems to improve the workflow from design through manufacturing. I work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and support more efficient production."
What was your biggest educational takeaway from your time in FABE?
"While the technical rigor of the engineering curriculum was essential, my biggest educational takeaway from FABE was the development of strong professional and interpersonal skills. The emphasis my professors placed on communication, teamwork, and collaboration has been pivotal in preparing me to work effectively with engineers and professionals across multiple disciplines."
Best part of being an engineer or thing you love most about engineering?
"The part of engineering I enjoy most is designing workflows and processes that improve efficiency and make people’s jobs easier and more effective."
Fondest memory of your time at OSU FABE?
"My fondest memory from my time at OSU FABE is gaining hands-on experience in the welding lab. This practical experience has been invaluable in preparing me to tackle real-world engineering challenges effectively."
