  1. 2013 Engineering Job Shadow Program - Open to all Engineering students registered with Engineering Career Services

    The 2013 OSU Engineering Job Shadow Program is coming up!  Job Shadow is a one day opportunity for OSU Engineering students to spend time at an employer’s site, observe engineers, and learn more about professional roles related to their majors.  Students really love the program because they get to select the companies they visit…rather than the companies selecting them.  The 2013 Job Shadow Program will take place during Spring Break, March 11th-15th 2013. Job Shadow takes place at company locations throughout Ohio.

    "The Board of Trustees (“Board”) for the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio approved two land lease contracts today (Jan. 8, 2013) which serve as blueprints for new facilities that will drastically increase the area’s recycling rates. The Board approved the agreements today with Team Gemini, LLC (“Gemini”), a sustainable project design and development company headquartered in Orlando, Florida.". Click here to read more.

  5. Food-to-fork concept

    Our students in the Ecological Engineering Society were featured in the Lantern for their work in bringing a ‘food-to-fork’ concept to campus. They have worked on the garden near the Wexner Center for the Arts on campus to provide fresh ingredients for food prepared at the nearby Heirloom Cafe. For the complete story, click here.

  6. $6.5M Grant for Bioenergy and Biofuel Research

    FABE faculty members have received a $6.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Energy to test and expand a university-developed technology that can produce biogas from a variety of solid organic wastes and bioenergy crops. To learn more, click here.
