    Cindy Barrera-Martinez, PhD Candidate and Fulbright Scholar, won first place in the competitive student colloquium at the American Chemical Society’s International Elastomers Conference held this year in Cleveland Ohio. Her paper presented, Bio-Based Natural Rubber Nanocomposites made from Agro-Industrial Byproducts, earned her top honors.
