3D Design & Digital Fabrication Camp
June 8 ~ 12, 2026 (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Join us for 3D Design & Digital Fabrication Camp: a hands-on engineering camp where students explore digital modeling and modern manufacturing technologies including CAD design, 3-D printing,
laser engraving, and precision fabrication.
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS
• Learn 3-D CAD modeling and 3-D scanning to create digital models of real objects
• Design your own ideas and transform them into physical objects using modern fabrication technologies
• Validate and manufacture your designs using cutting-edge tools such as 3-D printing, laser engraving, and precision machining
• Experience how engineering ideas are applied to real research projects at USDA-ARS and OSU-CFAES laboratories
• Explore scientific discovery through visits to the Soft Wheat Quality Lab (food science) and the Titanium Bug Zoo (OSU Entomology)

Dates: June 8–12, 2026
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Parents/guardians are responsible for daily transportation.
Drop-Off Time: No later than 8:50 AM
Pick-Up Time: No later than 3:10 PM
Location: Research Service Building, Wooster, OH 44691
Please note that we do not provide before-care or after-care services. Students must be picked up promptly at the conclusion of each day’s activities.
