Congratulations to: Dr. Yebo Li - received the 2013 OARDC Distinguished Junior Faculty Researcher Award for development of an outstanding research program focusing on bioenergy and bio-products processing and technologies Dr. Andy Ward - received the 2013 OARDC Director’s Innovator of the Year Award for development of a two-stage ditch design strategy which consists of a channel designed to convey the effective discharge, a bench to serve as a floodplain for the smaller channel, and a stage to adequate width to prevent flow overtopping the ditch banks and flooding surrounding land. Dr. Jiying Zhu - received the Second Place Poster Presentation Award (Post-Doctoral Scholar Category) for the presentation titled “Co-digestion of soybean processing waste and deteriorated hay in solid-state anaerobic digestion (SS-AD) for biogas production.”
