Earlier this semester, The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) announced its 23 recipients of the Distinguished Senior Award. The Distinguished Senior Award honors top graduating seniors on the Ohio State Columbus campus who exemplify the CFAES mission in areas such as academics and scholarship, research and innovation, service and involvement, and influence and leadership.
Four researchers in The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) have been awarded funding from the statewide Harmful Algal Bloom Research Initiative (HABRI), which seeks solutions for harmful algal blooms in Ohio. Three of those researchers, Vinayak Shedekar, Asmita Murumkar, and Ryan Winston, are in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE).

Earlier this month, the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) and the College of Engineering announced it's Dean's List honorees for the Autumn 2023 semester. The Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) is proud to announce that across our three majors, 164 students achieved the honor of Dean's List this past semester.

The honorific title, selected annually on a competitive basis among faculty members at the rank of full professor, recognizes excellent work and significant impact in fulfilling CFAES’ missions—teaching, research, outreach, and engagement.
