Innovative technology to advance agriculture
Innovation in machinery systems can help agricultural producers increase their production and profits while lowering their environmental impact. Whether through the development of new machinery, or the retrofitting of smart technology on tried-and-true products, FABE Extension educators are helping equip growers with the tools they need to be successful. FABE has a long history of innovations in machinery that continues to this day.
Dr. Erdal Ozkan, FABE Professor and Ohio State Extension specialist contributes to pesticide application educational sessions provided by Ohio State Extension. Topics include proper, safe and efficient application of pesticides, where Ozkan will prepare teaching/resource materials which can be used by the local Ohio State Extension personnel across Ohio. Ozkan also offers educational programs. In addition, Ozkan works with Ohio State Extension personnel to inform when new developments are made in equipment used for application of pesticides through one-day in-service programs to these educators.
