Apply Your Learning
Students in Agricultural Systems Management and Construction Systems Management are required to complete at least one 100-hour internship to gain practical, hands-on experience to augment their on-campus course work. Students in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering are not required to complete an internship but are highly encouraged to do so and to participate in other kinds of learning outside of the classroom. Our faculty and instructors help students network with future employers and find internship and co-op opportunities.
Job and internship opportunities for all Ohio State students are shared via Handshake. Employers can highlight opportunities that match well with our ASM, CSM, and FABE students.
Handshake is Ohio State’s new university-wide position posting system where students have access to search and apply for part-time jobs, internships, co-ops, and full-time career opportunities. Thousands of jobs, internship and career opportunities are posted in Handshake as well as information on upcoming career fairs and on-campus recruiting events.
Basic requirements for student access include enrollment in classes for the current term and good financial standing.
Start setting up your profile using your firstname.lastname@example.org email address (do not use your buckeyemail email). The more handshake knows about you, the better it can deliver relevant content to meet your needs and interests.
